One of the main reason of stress is our negative feeling and thoughts. Negativities are prevalent nowadays in our busy, fast pace life. Our interactions with others seem to be more negative than bringing comfort and joy. Our minds are saturated and our sensitivity numbed with overload information and the confusion and despair that come from local, national or world news. In this atmosphere, it is difficult for us to access our innate positive and joyful nature, and remember the goodness of men and the grace of God. We lost faith and doubt our path and worry about where the world is going and what will become of us . We need to see clarly and take a break from our busy life to recharge and reconnect with the beauty and meaning of life. We can not change the external but we can change our outlook about it. We can not redo the past and it is not helpful to worry about the future, but we can live in the solid present and make the best of it. There will be workshops and lectures specifically on the power of thoughts, how to be in the present, and how to turn negative feelings and thoughts to positive feelings. How to manage stress and respond positivily to challenges. Yoga psychology and philosophy have a wealth of techniques and information that will help us to cope.
The course will begin at 7pm on the first day with orientation, and will end at 3pm on the last day.
Please plan to arrive at the Yoga Farm at least one day before the start of the course and to leave at least one day after the course completion.
We recommend that you spend at least a few days in the Yoga Farm before the start of your course. This allows your body and mind to rest, re-energize and be nourished bu the ashram environment. You can then bring your study feeling relaxed and refreshed. You may also wish to stay for some days after the end of the course to allow the learning form your study to integrate more fully into your consciousness within the supportive environment of the ashrm. If you decide to arrive early and stay longer, please register for the Yoga Vacation Program for those additional days. Please see the calendar of events for guest programs on offer around the time of your visit.
