Registration & Useful Information

Registration

Courses begin on a regular basis. We advise advance registration for courses and workshops. Full payment is required at the time of course commencement.

We have an initial registration charge for all new students of Rs 30 for Indian residents and Rs 50 for Non Indian residents.

Booking

Please note: a minimum of 4 students is required per course/workshop. Please book in advance for courses. Transfer between courses incurs Rs 50 fee.

Payments

We accept cash payments only. No credit card or cheque payments are accepted.

Cancellations/Refunds

No refunds under any circumstances. A credit note, will be issued in the event of cancellation up to 48 hrs before the commencement of the course. This may be used for any other class/course but cannot be used to purchase boutique items.

Cancellation of a course/workshop by the centre will result in a full refund of any monies paid.

Missed classes

Missed classes during courses cannot be made up or substituted with classes from another course or with open classes.

Donations

The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center (ISVYC) is registered is a charitable trust. All donations are tax exempted under section 80-G of the Income Tax Act 1961 of Govt of India.

Boutique

The centre has a small boutique selling a selection of books, tapes, cds, clothing, yoga mats and a range of other yoga related items.

General Information

Please arrive on time for all classes and avoid leaving early. Latecomers may not be allowed entry to class.

Mobile phones must be switched off and not used within the Centre.

Dress modestly, with shoulders, midriff and legs covered. Tight fitting, transparent and revealing clothing is not permitted in the centre. Changing rooms are available.

We recommend you do not eat for 2 - 3 hours before a class.
