September 1, 2008 How Can I Help? with Dr. Marilyn Rossner Marilyn Rossner is a Professor of Special Education (retired), Behavioral Therapist, Special Educator, Yoga Therapist, Founder of the Spiritual Science Fellowship, Co-founder of the International Institute of Integral Human Sciences. She pioneered the use of yoga as an adjunctive therapy in the treatment of children with special needs. For the past 8 years has organized a yearly mission to Africa to help and visit dying children. She is a senior disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda, and one of the world’s most gifted intuitives! Marilyn will give lectures and workshops on how to apply Yoga to the service of humanity. |

September 13, 2008 CONCERT with Aruna Narayana Kalle Aruna Narayan Kalle is the daughter of the renowned Sarangi maestro, Pundit Ram Narayan. The Sarangi, an ancient North Indian bowed instrument is considered one of the most difficult to master. Aruna’s father however, emerged as its messiah and due to his efforts the Sarangi is now well ensconced in the mainstream of the Indian performing arts. Aruna is the only woman to play this instrument professionally and has given numerous concerts in India and around the world. Her music has been featured in several international films. She will be accompanied on tabla by Nitin Mitta |
